Treasure hunting in Chandni Chowk

my friend Kathy and I went treasure hunting in Chandni Chowk the other day..
Chandni Chowk is one of the most densely populated and congested areas on the planet
so to get there it's all about getting on a bike rickshaw....
first we bargained about the price and then off we went....

I think you can find really cheap clothes here...

we where on the hunt for semi precious stones and other fun beads....

and I tell you this is the place to find it all but you have to survive first....
it's so crowded and people and bikes and rickshaws and and.... everywhere

we spent a couple of hours in Kinari Bazar....

we did find some really good places and we looked and we looked and we looked and then we bargained and then we did buy something.....

we did find some nice little treasures....

everybody is bargaining when buying something...especially jewellery...

I think you can find anything that is sparkly and blingy here...
 heaven for designers...

I had to show Kathy the nice little alley....

preparing the ironing...

the coal is in getting warmed up...

it's like you're not in Chandni Chowk when you're in here...

so pretty...

and then back into the hustle and bustle..

food time..

then I was trying to get a picture of Kathy....which is not easy around here....
in the 3 seconds that I shoot these pictures this is what I got...
so funny...

well Kathy looked like she was having a great time anyhow....

back into the rickshaw....it's amazing that anyone or anything can get through here at all...

all of a sudden we had school rickshaws in front of us...

on the way back to the parking spot again....
it is such a fun place to go hunting for treasures in...
we kind of found what we where looking for but
guess what ?
we are going back next week
