it was so much fun to wander around the palace because everywhere I looked I saw
something I wanted to get a picture of...
they have done such a wonderful job with the restoring of this place
it's like you want to go and have a peek everywhere ......
so much fun
in the roof in the breakfast room I found this angel ?....I didn't know that there where angels in the hindu religion....
fell in love with this pattern...
of course there where swipers....
employees taking a tour of the premisses...
lots of wonderful flowers
the magnificent entrance into the palace....
all of a sudden I heard the sound of ?
it was working donkeys carrying sand...
this naughty one stopped and had a snack ...
they know where they're going so they do it all by themselves....almost
treasures and antiques in the hallway leading up to the palace....
an old painting...
in the old parts we found all sorts of swings and chairs from way back in time...
almost by themselves..
a birdbath that actually has a bird in it... a small dove...
I thought this was so pretty....the way they have used the stone...chips of stone actually....
the little elephant bench on our rooftop balcony...
we stayed in Hara Mahal, the green room, Shivas room
so nice..a small staircase leading up to the extra bed...
it was just so wonderful...so different from any other hotel room we've had...
the huge doors into the palace....
besides from wandering around the palace we took a ride to a big baoli, step well
and I also had a peek into the village...
