Baha'i House of Worship and a long walk in Lodi garden

There are some sights you have to go to see when in Delhi, and Baha'i House of Worship is one of them….maybe more known as Lotus Temple….
it's Delhi's most innovative modern structure

it was designed by iranian architect Fariburz Sahba and was completed in 1986...

27 petals of white marble and 9 pools surrounded by 92 ha of green lawns….it truly is an amazing building…the  3D exhibition and photo exhibition about how all this was built is really interesting….
after this tranquil moment we where off to another spot of tranquility and greenery

the Lodi gardens….the park is built around the imposing 15th century tombs of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties, Delhi's last sultans.

bamboo wood….so big….amazing…
see the trash can and the man in the left corner? just so get the hint of how big these are...

the park is home to all different kinds of birds…..like the green parrot….
can you find them in the picture ? there's actually three of them…I think….

difficult to spot in all that greenery…but so beautiful…
I found my weekly dose of art in the park….but that gets a post of itself so…
check in later….
