Well apparently it can....yesterday had a high of 48.5 degrees celsius at some spot in Delhi. That is oven hot. It's desert hot.
You would think that in this heat and no rain, so far, nothing would grow. Somehow it does.
Today I saw these beautiful sunflowers.
These where so high, like 3 meters...
Did you know that sunflower is one of the important crops in Indias oil seed production?
